Earn the Verified badge
The short path to the trust signal agents and directory searchers can see, one link on your website and a Starter plan.
Outcome: the Verified badge on your page, in agent answers, and in directory results, the signal that your business has proven it is what it says it is.
You need: a Starter plan or above, and one small edit to your own website.
Why bother
When an agent (or a person browsing the directory) weighs two similar businesses, verification is a visible difference that costs your competitor nothing to lack and you almost nothing to have. It answers the quiet question behind every recommendation: is this listing actually run by the business it claims to be?
Step 1 — Be on Starter or above
Verification is part of the paid trust layer. If you’re on Free, upgrade to Starter to unlock it. The plan bills when you subscribe and you can cancel at any time, so completing this playbook and seeing the badge live costs one month at most. Plans overview here.
Step 2 — Put your page link on your website
Add a link to your CoreLoop page (your coreloop.so link) anywhere on your own website. The footer works well: “Find us via AI assistants” or simply your link. This proves the person who controls the website is the person behind the profile, which is exactly what the badge asserts.
Tip: If you followed Get found by AI agents this week, you may have already done this in the same edit as the paste-block. If not, do both while you’re in the HTML, they’re different things: the paste-block wires your site into the loop; this link earns the badge.
Step 3 — Let the re-crawl find it
CoreLoop re-reads your website automatically once a week on every paid plan. When it sees the link, the badge is awarded — no form, no ticket. You’ll see it on your page and in your dashboard. Don’t want to wait for the weekly pass? Hit Refresh now on your profile page and the check runs immediately.
Step 4 — Keep it
The badge follows the proof. The re-crawl keeps checking, so leave the link in place and there’s nothing to renew, ever. Remove it and the badge is withdrawn at the next re-check.
Done when
The badge shows on your page, and directory results list you as verified.
Worth knowing: this is different from the website check used by the paste-block, that one authorises in-page tools on your domain and carries no badge. The verification doc untangles the two.
