Get verified

Every profile starts unverified. The Verified badge is CoreLoop’s signal, shown on your page and in agent answers and directory results, that your business has proven it is what it claims to be. Agents weigh it; so do people.

What it takes

Two things:

1. A Starter plan or above. Verification is part of the paid trust layer.
2. Proof of control. Today the working route is the website link: put a link to your CoreLoop page anywhere on your own website. CoreLoop’s weekly re-crawl — which runs automatically on every paid plan — detects it and awards the badge. It proves the person running the website and the person running the profile are the same. In a hurry? Refresh now on your profile page triggers the check immediately.

The badge follows the proof

Verification isn’t a one-time stamp. The re-crawl keeps checking, which means the badge stays honest: remove the link from your site and the badge is withdrawn at the next re-check. Keep it, and there’s nothing to renew, no paperwork, no annual anything.

When someone else lists the same website

If another CoreLoop account lists the same website address as yours, a notice appears in your settings saying so. It’s usually innocent — an agency that set you up, an older account, a business you work with — and nothing on your profile changes because of it. If you think it’s a mistake, get in touch and we’ll look into it.

Verified vs. website-verified

Two different checks share an unfortunate resemblance:

• The Verified badge (this page): public trust signal, Starter+, proven by the website link, shown to agents and visitors.
• Website verification for the snippet: a private, technical check that you control your site, which authorises in-page tools on your domain. Any plan, no badge.

Doing one doesn’t do the other, but they pair naturally: the same session where you paste the snippet is a fine moment to add your page link too. The Verified-badge playbook walks through both.
