Your email inbox

On Pro, give your business its own email address so anything sent to it lands in your CoreLoop inbox as a conversation. Off by default, on in one switch.

Your business can have its own email address on CoreLoop, so that anything people send to it arrives in the same Inbox as your inquiries, as a conversation you can read and reply to in one place. It’s part of the Pro plan, and it starts off until you turn it on.

What it is

A single address in the shape your-slug@…, tied to your published profile. There’s no new mailbox to check and no forwarding rules to set up on your side: mail sent to that address becomes a conversation in your inbox automatically.

Turning it on

  1. Open Settings → Channels.
  2. Find the Email inbox card and switch it on.
  3. Copy the address it shows and share it wherever you’d share a contact email.

Only an owner or admin can change the switch; other team members see it read-only. On Free and Starter the card isn’t available, upgrade to Pro to unlock it. Turn the switch off any time and new mail to the address simply stops becoming conversations.

How messages arrive

Each email opens (or continues) a conversation in your inbox, with the sender’s name and address and the message body, cleaned up on arrival. You reply straight from the thread, the same way you answer an inquiry, no separate email client needed. As with every door into your inbox, arrivals are rate-limited so a burst can’t flood you — and the limits are counted per sender and per business, so one noisy sender can’t use up anyone else’s allowance.

When a reply doesn’t arrive

Email can fail on the other end — a full mailbox, a mistyped address, a server that refuses mail. When that happens to a reply you sent from the inbox, the reply is marked Not delivered in the thread rather than sitting there looking sent. Reach the person another way if they left a phone number, or check the address with them and send again.

Which emails and notices you get

CoreLoop sends a handful of emails, and you choose most of them at Settings → Notifications: the weekly recap of agent activity, product updates, and inquiry notifications when someone writes to you. Billing alerts — payment confirmations and subscription changes — are always on, because you’d want to know. Every email also carries an unsubscribe link for its own category; following it asks you to confirm first, and you can turn the category back on from the same settings any time.

Occasionally you’ll also see a short notice on your dashboard when something new has shipped. Read it, or press Got it, and it won’t come back.

Your data

Messages are stored as conversations under your business only, never shared across businesses, and sanitised as they come in. If you ever delete your business, they go with it — see Deleting your account or company for the timing, including the 7-day window in which a deletion can still be undone.
