Editing your profile
Edit your business information in plain language at Dashboard → Profile. Every saved change updates all channels, in every language.
Everything agents and visitors see comes from one profile, and you edit it in one place: Dashboard → Profile. Plain-language fields, no technical formats.
What you can edit
Your name, tagline, descriptions (a short one for cards and search, a long one for your page), category, contact details, opening hours, social links, policies, accessibility information, and the label and link of your page’s main button. Services have their own page, and so do locations.
Most fields are plain text. The long description supports light formatting — headings, bold, lists — which CoreLoop sanitises on save; agents receive it as clean text.
A few fields worth knowing about
- Social links. Links to your business on other platforms — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, whatever you use, up to ten. They appear on your page and are shared with AI agents, so an assistant asked “do they have an Instagram?” has the answer.
- Policies. One place for anything worth stating up front: cancellations, refunds, deposits, age limits, pets. Agents quote it when a customer asks, which saves you the email.
- Your page’s main button. Out of the box the main button on your page points visitors at your services. Give it your own label (“Book now”, “Request a quote”) and a link (your booking system, your contact form) and it becomes that button instead. It changes only when both the label and the link are set.
- Hours and locations can be switched off. Not every business has a front door or fixed hours. Under Locations you say whether customers can visit you, and whether you keep set hours, are always open, or would rather not say — see Locations for what agents are told in each case.
What happens when you save
A save is not just a database write. CoreLoop cascades the change everywhere it needs to go:
- Your page and llms.txt file update.
- Agent channels serve the new answer on their next request; caches are cleared so nothing stale survives.
- If services changed, your agent tools regenerate to match.
- Your directory listing updates.
- If the changed fields are translatable and you have translations enabled, the translations regenerate too.
You do all of that by pressing save once.
Tip: Write the short description as the sentence you’d want an AI assistant to say about you. That is quite literally its job.
Edits from other sources
You aren’t the only editor. CoreLoop’s re-crawl watches your website for changes on paid plans — but nothing it finds is ever applied on its own. Every change queues for your approval, and until you approve it, agents keep getting the version you last approved. When you do approve, the same cascade above runs, so no channel is ever behind another.
