Where people and agents find you

Two settings pages cover everything: Channels (the places you show up) and AI Agents (the always-on connections). Plus the one choice above them all — where your link sends visitors.

Your business is reachable through several channels at once, and your dashboard splits them across two pages in Settings:

  • Channels — every place your business shows up: your CoreLoop page, your own website, your own domain, the directory, and your business email inbox.
  • AI Agents — the always-on connections AI assistants query directly, and the setup blocks for pointing an AI client at them.

Each shows what a channel is, whether it’s on, and a switch to change that.

Where visitors land

Above the individual switches sits one choice: what a person sees when they open your CoreLoop link.

  • Your CoreLoop page — the link opens your ready-made page. Free on every plan.
  • Your own website — the link sends visitors straight to your existing site instead, and your CoreLoop page stops showing. Free on every plan.
  • Both — your page serves visitors and your own website carries the CoreLoop paste-block, so agents find you in both places. Running both at once is part of the paid plans (Starter and up).

Agents find you either way; this choice is about people. Changing it asks you to confirm, because it changes the destination of a link you may have printed on a door.

The channels (Settings → Channels)

  • Your page — the human-facing page at coreloop.so/your-name. Details.
  • Your own website — the pasted snippet that makes your site part of the loop. Install guide.
  • Your own domain — on Pro and above, your page can be served from a domain you own. Details.
  • The directory — cross-business search for people and agents. Details.
  • Your email inbox — on Pro, a business email address that lands in your CoreLoop inbox. Details.

The connections (Settings → AI Agents)

  • AI agent access — the always-on connections assistants query directly for live answers, each with its own switch and a copyable address.
  • In-page tools — tools an assistant can use right in the visitor’s browser; see WebMCP.
  • Client setup — ready-made instructions for pointing a specific AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code) at your business. See MCP.

Switches, and what they don’t do

Each channel switches independently, and changes take effect immediately. Two rules sit above all the switches:

  1. Unpublishing beats everything. No channel ever serves an unpublished profile, regardless of its switch. Unpublish is the one master off switch.
  2. Page off is not agents off. Sending visitors to your own website leaves agent channels answering as normal. If you want agents off too, that’s their own switch, or unpublish.

Tip: This panel is the one place in the dashboard that names the protocols behind each channel (MCP, A2A, WebMCP), because it’s where you’re choosing among them. You don’t need the names to use the switches, but if you want them explained, start with the protocols overview.
